Prof. (Dr.) Anurag Tewari has led the International Finance Corporation (A Member of World Bank Group) & UK based MNC TILDA funded Basmati Rice Water Conservation Project in association with other likeminded organizations. He successfully led Rice variety-sampling mission comprising of European Union Joint Research Centre (Brussels) & Export Inspection Council (Govt. of India). Prof. Tewari has been distinguished Member of Rice Variety Identification Committee, Ministry of Agriculture, Govt. of INDIA (2009). Besides, he has been an active Member of Organic Certification Committee, Exports Inspection Council, Ministry of Commerce, Govt. of INDIA (2010). Prof. Anurag successfully interfaced with Multi-National Companies, International Research Organizations & Universities for launch of joint projects (2000 -- 2014). Amongst the major projects led by Prof. Anurag are Sustainable Agriculture with International Rice Research Institute (2009 --- 2012) & Basmati Rice Water Conservation with World Bank (2012 --- 2014).

Prof. (Dr.) Anurag Tewari has done B Sc Ag & AH & M Sc Ag from G. B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pant Nagar, Ph D from Kumaon University, Nainital & Post Doctorate from Indian Agricultural Research Institute & University of Delhi. During his graduation he was awarded with College Merit Certificates in the years 1985 – 1986 & 1987 – 1988. Besides, he had been the core member of the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of INDIA sponsored projects with G. B. Pant National Institute of Himalayan Environment (1993 --- 1997), University of Delhi (1997 --- 1998) & Indian Agricultural Research Institute (1998 --- 1999).

Prof. (Dr.) Anurag Tewari has 4 years of academics, 6 years of Research & 20 years of Industrial experiences. Major part of Prof. Anurag's carrier has gone with reputed Multi-National Companies such as LUPIN Ltd, TILDA Ltd., HAIN CELESTIAL INDIA Ltd., SAEL & RADIKAL FOODS Ltd. in central & northern INDIA. In industry he successfully led 5 commercial projects i.e., (1) Seed Business; (2) Contract Farming; (3) Organic Farming; (4) Mushroom Business & (5) Micropropagation. Bagged appreciation by TILDA to agriculture extension wing FACE & agriculture research wing FOSTER under his Stewardship. Besides, he has undertook undergraduate & graduate level subjects at S. B. S. University, Dehradun & Noida International University, Greater Noida. He has published more than 12 Research Papers in national and international peer-reviewed Journals and 01 Book. He has supervised 2 M Sc dissertations.

Presently Prof. (Dr.) Anurag Tewari is working as DEAN Agriculture, CHITKARA University, Punjab. During his tenure with CHITKARA UNIVERSITY, he has successfully run Corporate Training Program for the stakeholders of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. He is also Chief Consultant with Rising Roots Agriculture Pvt. Ltd. New Delhi where he has ongoing projects PAN INDIA. Above all he has more than 10 international collaborations to his credit during his career till now.
